The film examines on a national level the environmental impact of dams and the controversy that often surrounds the removal of obsolete dams. The Schuylkill River Heritage Area is sponsoring this film, in partnership with Alvernia University, as part of its 2014 River of the Year Lecture Series, in recognition of the river as Pennsylvania's River of the Year.
